The Role: Data Analyst
As a Data Analyst at Switch, you will be part of a world-class team that operates in

and enterprise data center needs. Your work will directly impact the future of technology
and the sustainable growth of the Internet.
As a talented and motivated Data Analyst in our data operations team. You will collaborate
with data engineers, data scientists, and stakeholders to develop and deliver data products
that drive business insights and innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and performance insights
- Write advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data
- Partner with data engineers to improve data quality, integrity, and metric definitions
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI tools
- Translate business questions into measurable KPIs and reporting frameworks
- Document data definitions, calculations, assumptions, and methodologies
- Support predictive and AI-enabled analytics initiatives in partnership with data science teams
- Contribute to data governance efforts across systems of record
- Use tools such as dbt, Airflow, and Git to support reliable data workflows
- Present findings in clear, structured formats for both technical and non-technical audiences

What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI or similar BI platforms
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience defining KPIs and working with business stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
