This organisation is building foundational infrastructure that enables native digital assets to move beyond passive holding and participate securely across decentralised ecosystems. Its flagship protocol has secured multi-billion USD equivalent in native asset value, alongside a next-generation vault architecture enabling seamless, trust-minimised participation across multiple chains.
The team is globally distributed, composed of experienced protocol researchers, engineers, and ecosystem operators. The culture is fast-moving, ownership-driven, and highly collaborative.

Our client is seeking a security-focused DevSecOps Engineer who thrives in high-performance environments and enjoys operating across multiple domains.

You will join the DevOps function with a primary mandate of strengthening security posture across infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and production systems.
🔒 Security & Governance
- Implement zero-trust and least-privilege access controls
- Integrate security tooling and automation into CI/CD pipelines
- Secure production credentials and cryptographic key material
- Harden decentralised application frontends against attack vectors
- Establish and enforce security standards across Git-based workflows
- Develop threat models for web3-native infrastructure

🚀 Platform & Infrastructure Engineering
You will also contribute across DevOps, SRE, and Platform initiatives:
Production Readiness & Service Onboarding
- Build proof-of-concept deployments for blockchain networks and dApps
- Architect highly available infrastructure environments
- Lead performance benchmarking and load testing
- Optimise CDN, DNS, and edge configurations for performance and resilience
Reliability & Operations
- Implement fine-grained monitoring and alerting
- Design and validate disaster recovery procedures
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response
- Lead post-incident reviews and system hardening initiatives
Infrastructure Ownership
Operate and scale:
- Kubernetes clusters
- Bitcoin, Ethereum, Cosmos-SDK, and Zero-Knowledge infrastructure
- Datastores (Redis, MongoDB, MariaDB)
- Messaging systems (RabbitMQ)
- Observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Sentry)

You will work closely with engineering teams to embed production-grade practices across the organisation.
✅ Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
- Strong understanding of web3 threat landscapes and blockchain security models
- Experience designing secure infrastructure pipelines (SIEM, CSPM, CWPP, etc.)
- 2+ years’ experience working with production Ethereum, Bitcoin, or ZK systems
- Proven experience operating highly available containerised systems on Kubernetes
- Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
- Experience with Helm, GitOps tooling (e.g., FluxCD), and GitHub Actions
- Terraform proficiency
- Strong Linux administration and scripting capability
- Hands-on experience with open-source observability tooling
- Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to incidents
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Desirable
- Cosmos SDK experience
- Prior exposure to web3-native infrastructure environments
