Job Description

DevSecOps Engineer (Remote – APAC / Europe Preferred)

Full-Time | Reports to: Head of Platform Engineering

🌍 The Opportunity

We are working with a high-growth, venture-backed blockchain infrastructure company that is expanding its DevSecOps capability.

This organisation is building foundational infrastructure that enables native digital assets to move beyond passive holding and participate securely across decentralised ecosystems. Its flagship protocol has secured multi-billion USD equivalent in native asset value, alongside a next-generation vault architecture enabling seamless, trust-minimised participation across multiple chains.

The team is globally distributed, composed of experienced protocol researchers, engineers, and ecosystem operators. The culture is fast-moving, ownership-driven, and highly collaborative.

👤 The Profile

Our client is seeking a security-focused DevSecOps Engineer who thrives in high-performance environments and enjoys operating across multiple domains.

You will:

  • Bring a strong infrastructure and cloud security background
  • Have experience embedding security practices within DevOps or Platform teams
  • Be confident navigating modern cloud-native architectures
  • Demonstrate accountability and high delivery standards
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate cross-functionally
  • Take a proactive, security-first approach to system design

This role requires someone who builds security into systems from the ground up — not as an afterthought.

  • Strong understanding of web3 threat landscapes and blockchain security models
  • Experience designing secure infrastructure pipelines (SIEM, CSPM, CWPP, etc.)
  • 2+ years’ experience working with production Ethereum, Bitcoin, or ZK systems
  • Proven experience operating highly available containerised systems on Kubernetes
  • Strong experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS preferred)
  • Experience with Helm, GitOps tooling (e.g., FluxCD), and GitHub Actions
  • Terraform proficiency
  • Strong Linux administration and scripting capability
  • Hands-on experience with open-source observability tooling
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and respond effectively to incidents
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
