The Opportunity

Good Inside is seeking an independent contractor Photo Editor / Designer to support in-app content by selecting and preparing imagery for our Good Week franchises and curated Collections. This freelance role focuses on strong editorial judgment, light photo editing, and efficient execution within established brand and design guidelines.

The contractor will work from pre-approved photo libraries and coordinate with internal stakeholders to deliver polished, on-brand visual assets that support learning content for parents.

What You’ll Own

• Select photos from pre-approved image libraries using strong editorial judgment based on content themes and messaging
• Prepare final image assets for in-app use, including:
• Cropped and optimized versions of selected images
• Silhouetted versions of images placed against pre-created color backdrops
• Experiment with AI-generated illustrations and imagery, following internal brand guidance

• Complete assignments provided through a project management system
• Incorporate brand-alignment feedback and refine deliverables as needed
• Provide final approved assets for CMS build-out
  

You’re Skills & Experience

• Entry-level to early-career experience in photo editing, design, or visual production
• Strong visual and editorial judgment
• Working knowledge of design and photo editing tools (e.g., Photoshop, Figma, or similar)
• Ability to work within established brand systems and design parameters
• Detail-oriented and reliable in meeting deadlines
• Interest in experimenting with AI-generated imagery is a plus
  
  

What We Offer

• Independent contractor (1099) engagement
• Work assigned on a project-by-project basis
• Estimated volume equivalent to approximately 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs
• Fully remote
• Contractor responsible for determining their own schedule and methods of work, provided deadlines and quality standards are met
