Computer Systems Administrator (Remote - JIRA, ServiceNow)

Optomi, in partnership with one of our top clients in the restaurant industry, is seeking a Computer Systems Administrator for a 100% remote opportunity! This Computer Systems Administrator will play a key role in managing and maintaining automation processes between Jira and ServiceNow, as well as supporting core infrastructure components!

Must Have Skills/ Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of IT Support / administration experience.
• Basic understanding of core theories, principles, and industry best practices.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow automation principles and strategies.
• Knowledge of Jira automation principles and strategies, including general Jira administration.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:

• Primarily manage and administer Jira, including automation and general administration tasks.
• Support ServiceNow automation processes (experience is a plus).
• Maintain, install, upgrade, and configure computer systems hardware and software, specifically around defect automation processes between ServiceNow and Jira.
• Implement automation strategies to improve operational efficiency.
• Provide operational support for servers, desktops, printers, storage devices, and other peripheral equipment.
• Perform recovery procedures, schedule and monitor backups, and oversee batch processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve automation issues between ServiceNow and Jira.
