Senior .NET / AWS Developer

🚀 Senior .NET / AWS Developer – Contract | Outside IR35 | £500/day | Fully Remote

We’re looking for an experienced Senior .NET / AWS Developer to join our Engineering team on a 3-month contract, offering £500/day, Outside IR35, and fully remote working.

You’ll be stepping into a complex, live platform powering millions of journeys, where you’ll have real autonomy, ownership, and the opportunity to make an immediate impact.

This is a hands-on contract for someone who can quickly understand complex systems, make confident technical decisions, and contribute from day one.

💼 About the Role

This contract will involve three key phases:

Phase 1 – Discovery & Understanding

You’ll deep dive into the platform architecture, understanding systems end-to-end and helping document and share knowledge across the team. This requires strong analytical thinking and independence.

Phase 2 – Delivery & Engineering

You’ll work across both BAU and feature delivery, including:

• Supporting customer-facing data workflows via CI/CD pipelines
• Investigating and resolving production issues

• Delivering API integrations
• Setting up and managing databases
• Contributing to architectural and product improvements

Phase 3 – Knowledge Transfer

You’ll ensure a smooth handover by onboarding your successor and helping maintain continuity across the platform.

✅ What We’re Looking For

Strong, proven experience with:

• C# / .NET, including microservices and ideally CQRS architectures
• AWS (essential), with confidence across core AWS services and Terraform
• Microservices and distributed architectures
• DevOps / CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and automated testing
• Strong problem-solving skills, including diagnosing and resolving production issues

⭐ Nice to Have

• Experience with SaaS platforms or mobility / transport technology
• Exposure to public transport systems or data analytics platforms
• Familiarity with Python, Jenkins, or Docker
