Senior IT Operations Professional

MASV’s IT team builds and maintains the systems and infrastructure that power our people and secures our business. As our first dedicated IT operations professional, you’ll play a key role in driving the next phase of our IT maturity - improving reliability, security, and scalability across our growing organization. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead and administer IT Operations at MASV
• Analyze, develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, standards, and best practices and then advocate for continuous improvement through automation and innovative solutions
• Ensure compliance with company security standards and industry regulations
• Manage vendor relationships, IT-related budgets, expenses, and asset tracking aggressively to ensure that the company achieves spending targets
• Oversee the procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of IT equipment
• Act as a catalyst for rapid growth to efficiently enable MASV’s current trajectory

REQUIREMENTS

• Located in Canada, with a preference for the National Capital Region
• Proven experience in startup operations (this is NOT an entry-level role but we also don't need 20 years experience in operations)
• Strong communication skills - written and verbal
• Embraces change
• Natural problem solver
