GCP DevOps Engineer (HPC / GPU) – Energy Trading
Remote | 75 Man-Days | March 30 – July 15, 2026
We are building a high-performance Weather Data Pipeline for systematic Energy Trading and are looking for a senior GCP DevOps Engineer with strong HPC and GPU experience.
This is a clearly defined build-phase project with production-grade standards and measurable deliverables.
Scope of Work
You will design and operate a high-performance cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform to support large-scale atmospheric model processing.
Core Responsibilities
GCP Infrastructure
- Setup and management of Compute Engine GPU instances (NVIDIA A100)
- Handling Spot / Preemptible instance lifecycles
- Cost optimization using Committed Use Discounts (CUDs)

Storage Architecture
- Design of scalable storage hierarchies
- High-I/O Balanced Persistent Disks for GPU caching

- API gateway configuration for secure external data ingestion
