Role Title: Cloud Data Architect

Employment Type: 6- Month Contract-to-Hire

Role Description:

• We are looking for a Cloud Data Architect to help design and deliver the data warehouse and enterprise analytics platform.

• You will be responsible for leading the design of a cloud data warehouse and data lakehouse architecture to ingest large-scale transactional and operational data; define integration strategies; develop a reference architecture leveraging Databricks Delta Lake; implement semantic modeling to unify reporting across Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud; oversee ingestion pipelines; optimize query performance; etc.

Requirements:

• 7+ years in data engineering building data warehouses and working with cloud data architecture (must have been involved in standing up data warehouses)
• Experience blending data warehouses is required
• SAP S/4 experience is highly preferred and will be one of the primary hiring considerations outside of the data architecture experience. SAP ECC will be considered as well as a secondary option. We will also consider someone who has strong consulting experience across different environments blending, migrating, and converting data warehouses and has strong Databricks experience.
• Azure experience is preferred but AWS or GCP experience will suffice.
• Databricks and Snowflake preferred but similar tools experience is acceptable.
• Strong experience in data modeling required
• Strong SQL experience required
