Senior Visual Designer for Venture Content

Refinery works with VC funds and startups on positioning, content, and brand systems.

We are looking for a talented designer with strong editorial instincts to help bring venture content to life across digital platforms.

Your job is to translate complex ideas into clean, high-signal visual outputs.

This is not brand fluff or generic social media graphics. Our clients are investors and founders - the design needs to feel intelligent, sharp + credible.

You will:

– Design editorial social media assets (LinkedIn/X carousels, quote cards, visual explainers)

– Create clean, modern blog and newsletter layouts

– Design presentation decks (fund decks, internal strategy decks, thought leadership)

– Package long-form reports and research into structured, readable formats

– Work with us to develop repeatable visual systems for VC brands

– Collaborate closely on narrative → then turn that narrative into compelling visuals

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured thinking and minimal, premium design rather than overly expressive branding.
