QA Tester / QA Engineer

I’m working with a client who’s looking for a QA Tester / QA Engineer with strong, hands-on Functionize experience to step into ongoing work and take ownership of testing efforts. This role is fully remote (collaboration aligned to Eastern Time) and will have immediate impact across UAT and automation initiatives.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Picking up and expanding existing automated test work in Functionize
• Leading UAT efforts and coordinating across cross-functional teams
• Contributing to automation efforts using Playwright
• Building, executing, and maintaining manual + automated test cases
• Running SQL queries for data validation and debugging

• Identifying, documenting, and managing defects through resolution
• Supporting continuous improvement of testing processes, coverage, and testing strategy

What We’re Looking For

• Strong, hands-on experience with Functionize (must-have)
• Solid QA fundamentals: methodologies, test planning, regression, best practices
• Ability to take ownership of in-progress work and operate independently
• Technical proficiency, particularly with SQL
• Experience collaborating with product + engineering teams
