Senior QA Automation Engineer

Job Description

We have 2 contract opportunities for a highly collaborative and technically strong QA professional with 7+ years of relevant experience in Agile/Scrum environments, combining solid manual testing foundations with advanced backend and API automation expertise. They have hands-on experience testing REST APIs using Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI, validating data with SQL and MongoDB, analyzing logs, and working with tools such as ReadyAPI, Kafka, Git/GitLab, and CI/CD pipelines within AWS or Azure cloud environments. This individual is comfortable refining acceptance criteria into automated test cases, contributing to code reviews, and supporting high-quality web portal and API releases, while communicating clearly across cross-functional teams in a fully remote, fast-paced healthcare setting. 100% Remote.

MUST HAVES:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years of experience
• Agile and Scrum Process Knowledge with manual testing expertise
• Understanding of Web Technologies: Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how these interact with the web application helps in spotting issues and understanding how the application should behave.
• API Testing, Adaptability, communication and collaboration

Preferred Experience:

• Healthcare experience would be a plus
• ISTQB

Disqualifiers:

• Lacking collaboration skills, need someone vocal who is good at cross-collaboration, using AI during interview

About this Role:

• Our team is focused on delivering high-quality automation for the web portals and API components currently under development.
• We work in a dynamic, agile environment, and the team is both collaborative and supportive.

D2D Responsibilities:

• 8am-5pm, possibility of overtime, but very rarely
• Remotely via Teams
• Working remotely
• Standup meetings on a daily basis, retrospective meetings, AGILE.

+ Skills used daily:

• Knowledge of Manual testing and strong understanding of API and DB’s
• Working with APIs - use of Postman, able to review Swagger/OpenAPI spec
• SQL knowledge
