Azure/Kubernetes Engineer

100% Remote working.

We are looking for a Kubernetes Engineer to join an existing team of devs to work on cloud-based solutions. The role is fully remote working as the company are based in Malta. The salary is 45k - 55k euros and the successful candidate will be hired on a fixed term contract basis and will be responsible for their own taxes and national insurance. We expect the candidate to have at least 3+ years commercial experience.

The primary focus will be on Designing, implementing, and managing Azure Kubernetes Service clusters, ensuring that business requirements around high availability, scalability and security are met. Other responsibilities include:

• Performing upgrades and patch management for AKS clusters.
• Developing and maintaining infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Designing and maintaining Helm charts and YAML to deploy workloads to Kubernetes.
• Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Flux.
• Establishing monitoring systems and alerting procedures.
• Documenting your work for other colleagues to follow and refer to.
