Job Description
Job Title: Sr Cloud Security Engineer
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 12 – 24 Month Project Engagement
Max Rate: $60-65/hr W2 max to the candidate.
Role Summary: The Security Engineer is a hands-on technical expert responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing MNAO’s security tooling. This role works closely with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure all security controls are properly configured and operational.

- Implements and maintains security tooling for MNAO, ensuring proper configurations, applying Security-by-Design principles.
- Works directly with MNAO's infrastructure, Client Services team and MSSP to ensure all platforms are configured for visibility.
- Applies data security principles to tool configurations and integrations.
- Implements and maintains security tooling that supports MNAO's business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Develops and implements security automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations and enforcement.
- Conducts technical vulnerability remediation and coordinates patching efforts.
- Provides advanced technical support and troubleshooting for security-related issues.
- Develops and maintains technical documentation for security configurations, procedures, and hardening standards.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in security engineering or a similar technical role.
- Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, EDR, cloud security controls, and SIEM.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
- Strong understanding of networking, cloud environments, and operating systems.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, CCNP Security, or relevant cloud certifications.
