Sage Services is hiring a Product Manager – ERPNext (Frappe Framework Expert) with a strong accounting background and advanced technical expertise.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role — not coordination only.
The ideal candidate must:
Deeply understand ERPNext defaults and architecture
Have strong accounting and financial knowledge
Be highly skilled in Python and Frappe development
Be able to understand business requirements directly from teams and implement them independently
You will analyze workflows, document SOPs, design process maps, and personally execute system customizations across backend, frontend, and database layers.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
Business Process & Analysis
Meet departments to understand workflows and operational needs
Write detailed SOPs and system documentation
Draw process maps using Lucidchart, Microsoft Visio, or similar tools

Evaluate whether to use ERPNext defaults or develop customizations
ERPNext Customization & Development (Hands-On)
Modify DocTypes, add/link fields, manage permissions
Develop backend logic using Python (Frappe Framework)
Write custom scripts and frontend logic (JavaScript)
Design reports, dashboards, and data visualization tools
Manage database updates (MariaDB/MySQL)
Build integrations via REST API
Maintain system performance, stability, and data integrity
Financial & Accounting Alignment
Configure Chart of Accounts, Cost Centers, Project Accounting
Ensure accounting logic aligns with operational workflows
Support financial automation and reporting accuracy
âś… Mandatory Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on ERPNext/Frappe experience
Strong accounting background (education or professional experience)
