Job Description
Nature’s Path Foods is seeking a BI Developer to design and deliver Power BI reporting solutions within our new Microsoft Fabric data lakehouse. In this role, you will work closely with business teams to understand requirements, translate real-world challenges into data-driven solutions, and build, enhance, and maintain reports and data pipelines in Power BI.
This position is well suited for someone with a strong understanding of retail or manufacturing business processes who enjoys working directly with users and owning solutions end to end. Experience with back-end data engineering on the modern Microsoft stack (Azure / Fabric) is an asset, but not required. This is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Business Intelligence & Data Governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Engagement & Requirements: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Supply Chain to understand processes, lead requirements gathering, and translate business needs into intuitive BI solutions.
- Hands-On Development & Delivery: Design, build and maintain analytics solutions using Power BI on Microsoft Fabric.
- Problem Solving & Analytical Thinking: Break down complex requests into actionable tasks, investigate and resolve data discrepancies, ensure accuracy of critical reporting, and drive automation and continuous process improvement.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in computer science, analytics, or a related field
- 4+ years of professional experience developing Power BI solutions
- Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of ETL processes
- Demonstrated ability to run meetings or workshops and document evolving requirements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience developing reporting solutions for the retail and/or manufacturing industry

Notes
- This is a remote role within Canada with a base salary between $85,000 - $100,000 with a 10% bonus
