Job Description
Based in Washington, D.C., Quorum is a fast-growing software company and is the leading provider of workflow software and information services for government affairs professionals across the corporations, non-profits, associations, and governmental end-markets. Quorum allows users to manage stakeholder engagement, launch grassroots advocacy campaigns, and track legislative activity at all levels of government, including federal, state and local.
Quorum provides mission-critical solutions to public affairs professionals for their work in Congress, all 50 state legislatures, major U.S. cities, the European Union, and 30+ countries around the globe. Quorum serves over 2,000 customers globally including over 50% of the Fortune 100, and has over 350 team members across the globe.
As the Customer Marketing Manager, reporting to the Sr. Engagement & Event Marketing Manager, you will act as the primary engine for customer growth by architecting lifecycle journeys that convert existing customers into multi-product power users. You will own the expansion pipeline target, managing the full execution of cross-sell and up-sell campaigns from technical setup in Marketo to sales handoff and ROI reporting. This position is an individual contributor who collaborates across marketing, Sales, and RevOps teams to maximize customer lifetime value.
Responsibilities
- Architect multi-channel expansion plays specifically designed for the complex hierarchies of DC-based organizations (Trade Associations, Non-profits, and Government Relations) and state and local government affairs professionals. You will use Marketo and 6sense to target the full "influence map"—ensuring that while a policy analyst uses the tool, the VP of Government Affairs understands the value of the full suite. Focus: Managing the digital "surround-sound" that keeps Quorum top-of-mind during key legislative cycles and budget seasons.
- Design the strategic blueprint for high-touch DC activations, including legislative fly-ins, policy roundtables, and executive salons. You will work with the content team to define the editorial theme and content strategy, while the Events Team handles the logistical heavy lifting. Focus: Creating "intellectual capital" (e.g., benchmarking reports or policy-impact sessions) that positions Quorum as a thought leader, giving Sales a reason to multithread into higher-level executive suites.
- Identify expansion-ready signals by merging product usage, political calendar, and intent signals. You will use Gong and 6sense to detect when an account faces a new legislative threat or a shift in the political landscape that requires additional Quorum modules (e.g., adding State tracking).
- Equip the AM team with specialized expansion assets. You will move beyond generic one-pagers to create persona-specific collateral (e.g., "The ROI of Quorum for PAC Directors") and talk tracks that resonate with our buyers.
- Track and report on how marketing-led initiatives contribute to Net Retention Rate (NRR) and the expansion pipeline. You will A/B test messaging—particularly around how policy-specific language performs compared with general SaaS value props—to maximize conversion rates.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in demand generation or customer marketing roles, specifically within a B2B SaaS environment.
- Expert-level experience with Marketo and Salesforce (CRM) is required.
- Demonstrated ability to map customer journeys and identify usage-based expansion signals.
- Proven ability to manage a pipeline target and report on ROI, lead conversion, and revenue attribution.
- Proficiency in English with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders in Sales, Product, and Operations.
- Ability to work successfully in a fully remote, fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Preferred qualification: Experience with 6sense, Gong Engage, Pendo, and intent-based marketing tools.
- Preferred qualification: Proven track record of running complex A/B tests across email and in-app channels to optimize conversion.
