Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum

The successful candidate will act as the first point of contact for IT-related issues, supporting employees and customers with hardware, software, and network troubleshooting. This role is ideal for a proactive and customer-focused IT professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-line technical support to employees and customers
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues
  • Log, track, and maintain accurate records of support requests
  • Analyse recurring technical issues and recommend improvements
  • Maintain and update internal IT documentation and self-help guides
  • Coordinate with field engineers for on-site technical support when required
  • Test, troubleshoot, and repair faulty equipment
  • Ensure timely resolution of issues to minimise operational downtime
Skills & Experience
  • Previous experience in an IT Helpdesk or Technical Support role (essential)
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience with Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and email systems
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, routers)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
