Eaton is currently seeking a Distribution Center (DC) Operations Manager. This role will based at our Lancaster, TX site. Relocation assistance is available.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $130000 - $190000 a year.

What You'll Do
The Distribution Center (DC) Operations Manager will provide strategic and operational leadership for a medium to high-volume order fulfillment distribution center. This role also includes supporting functional excellence across divisional facilities. The manager will ensure efficient product receipt, storage, and order fulfillment operations by optimizing resources and processes, while meeting key performance metrics in safety, quality, cost, and employee engagement.
You will drive the operation through development and implementation of key processes to ensure compliance within company policies and procedures. By using continual process improvement tools (such as Lean and Six Sigma), you will lead employee initiatives to create and promote an environment where team members are involved, empowered, and committed to the success of the company.
Essential Functions Include
- Leadership & Team Management - Manage a staff of supervisors (5-10) and associates (100-150) to ensure timely distribution of merchandise within the standards of budget, policies, procedures, and quality to satisfy the requirements of customers, sales operations, and finance divisions. Effectively lead associates by creating a common vision and an understanding of the organization's strategy, while enhancing associate commitment through recognition of individual and team achievements. Apply sound communication and motivational techniques; develops programs to supervise, counsel, and discipline subordinates. Direct the operations of the warehouse management team to achieve prescribed objectives
- Warehouse Operations - Plan, direct, and implement warehouse operations and administrative support to meet prescribed productivity and service goals. Ensure the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities, equipment, products, and workflows in a profitable manner. Procure equipment and facilities required to ensure efficient operation and achievement of company profit objectives
- Budget Control - Develop and recommend the annual operating budget. Establish and manage performance control systems to ensure service levels and operational objectives are achieved within prescribed cost, revenue, and profit parameters. Ensure all warehouse accounts achieve predetermined profit targets
- Warehouse Systems - Ensure the development and implementation of warehouse information systems to support company objectives and enable efficient warehouse operations. Maintain current knowledge of changes in relevant hardware and software technologies affecting warehouse management
- Safety and Compliance - Operate warehouse in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and statutes. Develop and maintain programs to ensure company standards for sanitation, maintenance, security, housekeeping, and workplace safety are consistently met.

The ideal candidate has Lean Six Sigma expertise and deep knowledge of material handling systems, warehouse storage and slotting strategies, and process optimization. You will leverage logistics and carrier insights to improve service and control freight costs, apply financial forecasting to manage budgets and operational risk, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication, cross functional collaboration, and the ability to build engaged, high performing teams in a fast paced environment are key to being successful in this role. We are looking for candidates who are diverse in their backgrounds, perspectives, and experiences, and who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to our team.
Qualifications
Required (Basic) Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution is required.
- Minimum 7 years of distribution center/warehouse or operations experience.
- Minimum 7 years of manager of people experience (both direct and indirect reports)

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related discipline
- Six Sigma green belt certification
- Experience working with a RF based WMS and TMS systems
- Experience leading an operation with light assembly.
