Job Description

Role Type: Principal Product Designer / Brand Influencer / Design Strategy Lead

Location: 100% Remote (we will help you setup your home studio)

Compensation: Commission + Annual Profit Sharing (Transitioning to Salary)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Real UX/UI Design Expert who is ready to move beyond the canvas and into the spotlight. You aren't just a pixel-pusher; you are a "Super-Senior" who understands user psychology, interaction design, and the business impact of a world-class user experience.

You are the "Voice of Authority" for our Design division. Your mission is to prove to the market that world-class design is a business-critical investment, not just a luxury. Beyond being the "on-camera talent," you are a Product Strategist and Gatekeeper. You will collaborate with copywriters to create high-converting VSLs, act as the Sales Engineer to scope and price projects, and serve as the Hiring Manager to vet and approve all design talent.

Key Responsibilities

  • The Face of the Design Funnel: Record Video Sales Letters (VSLs), Facebook Ads, "Thank You" pages, and social content. You deliver the message with natural charisma to build trust with startup founders and enterprise decision-makers.
  • Lead Offer & Creative Strategy: Define "What" we are selling. Work with the sales team to build irresistible design offers and collaborate with copywriters to turn design jargon into persuasive scripts grounded in real user science.
  • Technical Sales Engineering: Act as the lead SME on sales calls to scope new projects. You will determine the project roadmap, estimate hours/sprints, and define technical deliverables for custom engagements.
  • Design Gatekeeper (Hiring Manager): Review portfolios and conduct final interviews for all UX/UI talent submitted by the recruiting team. You are the final authority on who joins our delivery team.
  • "Editor-Friendly" Recording: Follow our specific "multi-take" recording workflow, making it easy for editors to remove bloopers so you look like a polished design visionary.
  • Technical Advocacy & Brand Expansion: Lead our presence on industry podcasts and social platforms, positioning yourself as a thought leader who understands the science of user behavior.

Requirements: Looking & Sounding the Part

  • On-Camera Authority: You must be comfortable speaking to a camera as if you are speaking to a Creative Director or CEO, delivering high-level strategy without a teleprompter.
  • Home Studio: You must have a clean, professional, and visually aesthetic background for filming (as expected of a design expert).
  • Technical Gear: You must own (or be willing to acquire) a 4K camera (smartphone or DSLR), a podcast-grade microphone with a preamp/interface, and professional lighting. (We provide a list of high-quality, affordable gear).

Qualifications: Subject Matter Expertise

  • Senior-Level Design Authority: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in UX/UI and Product Design. You understand the intersection of aesthetics, usability, and business goals.
  • Business & Scoping DNA: You understand how to price design services. You can look at a complex app idea and quickly scope out UX research, wireframing, and high-fidelity phases.
  • Strategic Copywriting Fundamentals: You understand how to communicate "value." You can work with a copywriter to turn a technical process into a persuasive sales narrative using hooks and ROI-driven concepts.
  • Technical Leadership: Experience in hiring, mentoring, or managing design teams. You know how to spot "A-player" talent vs. "B-player" portfolios instantly.
  • Practitioner DNA: Deep knowledge of Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, Prototyping tools, accessibility standards, and user testing.

The Roadmap to Full-Time

  • Immediate: Earn Commissions on all UX/UI-related sales generated through your funnels, plus Annual Profit Sharing from the entire company's bottom line.
  • Future: Once revenue milestones are hit, you receive an offer for a Base Salary (Full-Time or Part-Time) while retaining Profit Sharing.

How to Apply

  1. LinkedIn Profile/Resume: Highlight 5+ years of senior UX/UI and leadership experience.
  2. "Selfie" Intro Video (1–2 minutes): * Content: Explain one "design flaw" that kills conversions and how a real UX expert fixes it.
  3. Goal: Show us your energy, visual presence, and ability to make design sound like a business-critical investment.
  4. Portfolio (Optional): Include case studies or previous video content.
