Job Description


ReOrbit is looking for a Senior Digital Twin Software Engineer to join the ReOrbit team and support the software campaigns for our current satellite product lines UKKO, SILTA and future missions.

It's an exciting chance to join a dynamic start-up, with the opportunity to make a real impact, to reach our goal of pushing the boundaries of space data transfer.

Responsibilities

  • Co-design and implement networked digital twin software systems.
  • Build telemetry, messaging, networking layers.
  • Develop simulation and system-control components.
  • Implement distributed and real-time system components.
  • Co-own technical architecture and platform direction.
  • Rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship features.
  • Write clean, testable, production-oriented code.

Skills And Requirements

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Physics, Computer Science, Sofware Engineering or similar.
  • Strong (4+ yrs) experience in simulation sofware development including system architecture, code review, CI/CD pipelines, software testing and V&V.
  • Strong capability in object-oriented C++ for developing simulators.
  • Knowledge of integrating hardware and software in the loop.
  • Experience developing high fidelity, high frequency, real-time software solutions.
  • Self-motivated and driven, with a proven ability to develop and analyse independent projects.
