The HCM Operations Analyst is a vital member of the HR Transactional Team, responsible for ensuring accurate and compliant HR operations through managing audits, quality assurance, and system validations. This role serves as the primary liaison between business and IT teams to coordinate mass HR data updates-including acquisitions, global transfers, and corrections-while maintaining alignment with HR policies and regulatory standards. By analyzing HR processes, generating insightful reports, and providing Tier 3 support, the analyst drives operational efficiency and delivers effective solutions that enhance the overall performance of the HR transactional function.
Essential Functions
- Support and manage HR audits and quality assurance activities by ensuring day-to-day HCM operations, payroll processes, and policy administration comply with employment laws, union agreements, and internal standards, while addressing issues, implementing corrective actions, and improving operational efficiency.
- Execute HCM operational audits and quality assurance activities to support SOX and regulatory compliance, strengthen internal controls, and ensure adherence to employment laws and organizational policies.
- Serve as an HCM Analyst, identifying business needs, analyzing HR processes and data, and translating requirements into effective solutions that drive HCM operational goals, including performing HR technology system validation and testing, documenting business requirements and SOPs, supporting user training and workflows, and executing other duties as assigned.
- Run HR reports, analyze data for accuracy and quality, and support audits to provide insights that drive data-informed HR decisions and improve operations for the HR Transactional Team.
- Serve as the lead coordinator between the business and IT technical teams to perform mass HR data updates, including acquisitions, group global transfers, and group corrections, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with HR policies and system standards.
- Serve as the primary HCM operations point of contact for end-users, managing stakeholder relationships, resolving Tier 3 system tickets, and ensuring timely and effective solutions to support HCM operations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Psychology, Business Administration, or related field is required.
- 2-4 years human resources, auditing, or compliance experience required.
- 2-4 years experience managing HCM operations across multiple states, ensuring compliance with diverse state and federal regulations is preferred.
