We are looking for a Ruby on Rails Engineer to join an established client in the telecommunications industry.Â
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve applications built with Ruby on Rails
- Investigate production issues, analyze logs, and identify root causes
- Optimize system performance and database interactions
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code
- Collaborate closely with QA and Product teams to ensure smooth delivery
- Contribute to technical discussions and system improvements
- Maintain high engineering standards and delivery quality

Requirements:
- Solid experience with Ruby on Rails in production environments
- Comfortable working in a Linux-based production environment (command line and shell tools required)
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, including understanding how Rails interacts with the database
- Ability to write and optimize basic SQL queries
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Professional communication skills with the ability to bridge technical updates and stakeholder needs
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
- Strong commitment to clean code, testing, and attention to detail
Nice to Have:
- Hands-on experience with Angular and TypeScript
- Familiarity with Unix systems administration (Rsync, Systemd, SSH tunnels)
- Knowledge of JSON: API, OpenAPI/Swagger
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Background in DCIM tools, energy management, or data center domains
