One Identity DevOps Engineer – Freelance/B2B (Remote from Portugal)
We are partnering with an international client to hire an experienced One Identity DevOps Engineer to join their Identity & Access Management (IAM) team. You will work at the intersection of One Identity Manager, DevOps and Information Security, helping to design, build and operate secure, automated identity lifecycle processes in a complex, enterprise environment.
If you enjoy combining deep IAM expertise with CI/CD, automation and cloud, this project will give you long‑term technical depth and real impact.
What you will do
- Design, implement and maintain IAM solutions using One Identity Manager (IGA).
- Develop and improve Joiner/Mover/Leaver processes and identity lifecycle workflows.
- Build and maintain DevOps/CI-CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) for IAM components and integrations.
- Develop and maintain connectors and integrations with Active Directory, Azure AD, SAP and other target systems.
- Automate tasks and processes using VB .NET, C# and PowerShell.
- Support access reviews, SoD controls and compliance initiatives together with Security and Risk teams.
- Troubleshoot production issues, optimize performance and contribute to continuous improvement of IAM services.
- Collaborate with international, cross‑functional teams and act as a solution‑oriented, pragmatic, proactive engineer.

What we are looking for
- 5–10 years of experience in the IT industry.
- At least 5 years of hands‑on experience as a DevOps / IAM Engineer.
- Strong experience with One Identity / One Identity Manager.
- Solid background in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Information Security.
- Good knowledge of Azure DevOps (pipelines, CI/CD, automation).
- Practical experience with VB .NET, C# and PowerShell (or similar technologies).
- Strong understanding of security and compliance (e.g. SoD, access reviews, auditability).
- Comfortable working in international, client‑facing environments.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
Nice to have
