We’re partnering with a high-growth, product-driven technology organization operating in a sector closely aligned with ecommerce and digital marketplace platforms. This team is embedding AI directly into core product experiences — not as a side experiment, but as a revenue-driving engine.

They are hiring an Applied AI / ML Engineer who thrives at the intersection of product, engineering, and machine learning — someone who can take models from concept to production and directly influence business outcomes.

This is a build-and-ship role.

🎯 The Role

As an Applied AI / ML Engineer, you will design, build, and deploy AI-driven systems that optimize conversion, personalization, automation, and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with product and engineering teams across modern web architecture (TypeScript, React, Node, AWS, Next.js) to integrate machine learning into live production systems.

We are looking for someone fluent in today’s AI ecosystem — LLMs, agents, fine-tuning, embeddings, evaluation frameworks — and capable of translating AI capabilities into scalable product features.

• Data pipelines and model evaluation frameworks

• Experimentation systems to measure model performance and business impact

• Scalable infrastructure within AWS environments

🧠 What We’re Looking For

Core Requirements

• 5+ years in ML Engineering, Applied AI, or related roles

• Strong production experience deploying models, not just training them

• Experience working in ecommerce or adjacent digital commerce sectors

• Fluency in modern AI tools (LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, embeddings, vector databases)

• Strong backend engineering experience (Node.js, TypeScript preferred)

• Experience deploying systems in AWS environments

• Comfort collaborating with front-end teams working in React / Next.js

Technical Stack Exposure
