Senior Business Analyst

We are looking for a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst (BA) to join our client team. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring that software solutions meet business objectives and deliver value. With a strong background in requirements gathering, process analysis, and stakeholder management, the BA will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of software projects. 

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Min 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, or similar roles
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban). 
• Expertise in requirements elicitation, documentation, and management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello). 
• Proficiency in business process modeling tools (e.g., draw.io, Visio, Lucidchart…). 
• Experience with data analysis tools such as SQL, Excel, or Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to analyze and document business requirements, use cases, and functional/non-functional specifications. 
• Translate business needs into detailed technical requirements for the development team.

• Conduct gap analyses to identify areas for improvement in existing systems or processes. 
• Develop user stories, workflows, and process diagrams to clearly articulate requirements. 
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. 
• Facilitate workshops, meetings, and interviews to gather requirements and align on project objectives. 
• Ensure stakeholders’ needs are prioritized and incorporated into project deliverables.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and milestones effectively to stakeholders. 
• Work closely with development teams to ensure requirements are understood and implemented accurately. 
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups as part of an Agile development process. 
• Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) by defining test cases, scenarios, and supporting defect resolution. 
• Review and validate software deliverables against requirements to ensure quality and alignment. 
• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents, functional requirement specifications, and user manuals.
