About The Role

We are seeking a skilled Front-End Web Developer to join our team and contribute to building, optimizing, and maintaining our web applications. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from anywhere, with the option to visit our local offices if desired. The ideal candidate will possess strong front-end development expertise, a keen eye for UI/UX design, and a passion for crafting high-quality, user-focused digital experiences. You will play a key role in developing scalable websites, enhancing existing platforms, and ensuring optimal performance and accessibility across all devices. Your contributions will directly impact the usability and success of our digital products, and you will work closely with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and technical writers.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of professional experience in web development
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as JavaScript, SCSS, and PHP
  • Experience with Vue.js or React.js frameworks
  • Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and implementation
  • Experience operating within WordPress environments
  • Ability to develop custom themes from scratch and modify existing themes
  • Familiarity with front-end architecture, performance optimization, and scalability
  • Experience with project management and documentation tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and accountability

Responsibilities

  • Develop, launch, and maintain websites of varying complexity, ensuring they are scalable, performant, and user-friendly
  • Drive UI/UX planning and execution, making informed design decisions independently when necessary
  • Adhere to high standards of front-end development, emphasizing accessibility, responsiveness, and maintainability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs to ensure smooth site operation
  • Contribute to project documentation and the core codebase, promoting best practices and process improvements
  • Collaborate effectively with developers, designers, and technical writers to produce high-quality web products
  • Maintain clear communication channels, support company goals, and foster a collaborative team environment
  • Stay updated with the latest front-end technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices
