Senior Web Developer (Remote)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-performing websites and web applications in a fully remote environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a creative problem-solving mindset, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver responsive and user-friendly digital experiences.

This role requires strong coding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage projects independently.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain company websites and web applications

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Collaborate with designers, content creators, and marketing teams

Optimize websites for speed, performance, and scalability

Ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness

Implement security best practices and data protection measures

Troubleshoot and debug issues promptly

Integrate third-party APIs and tools

Conduct website updates, backups, and ongoing maintenance

Stay current with emerging web technologies and industry trends

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field (or equivalent experience)

2+ years of professional web development experience

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript

Experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

Experience with backend technologies (Node.js, PHP, Python, or similar)

Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify, or similar)

Knowledge of databases (MySQL, MongoDB, etc.)

Understanding of SEO principles and web performance optimization

Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Ability to work independently in a remote setting

Preferred Skills

Experience with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

Knowledge of version control systems (Git)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines

UI/UX design understanding

E-commerce development experience
