Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in End-to-End (E2E) integration testing for web applications and APIs. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks while ensuring high-quality releases across complex distributed systems.
You will work closely with Engineering, Product, and DevOps teams to validate functional, integration, and regression workflows across UI and backend services.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement E2E integration test strategies for modern web applications.
- Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent.
- Implement automated Web and API tests using JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Build and execute automated test suites for REST and SOAP APIs.
- Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
- Develop BDD-based automation using Cucumber where applicable.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing across microservices-based architectures.
- Collaborate with developers to improve testability and observability.
- Participate in test planning, defect triaging, and root cause analysis.
- Contribute to quality metrics and reporting dashboards.

Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in E2E Integration Testing for web applications.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining Test Automation Frameworks.
- Proficiency in Selenium, Cypress, or equivalent automation tools.
- Experience in Web and API test automation.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript, TypeScript, or Java.
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Cucumber (BDD framework).
- Experience testing REST and SOAP APIs.
- Familiarity with JUnit for unit/integration testing.
- Experience using API testing tools such as Postman or Insomnia.
- Exposure to modern automation tools such as Playwright.
