Senior Network Testing Engineer
We are seeking a hands-on Senior Network Testing Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive testing strategies for early-stage secure networking products. This is a deeply technical, engineering-driven role focused on validating performance, reliability, and compliance of mission-critical communication systems.
You will work closely with architects, developers, and product teams to ensure networking prototypes meet customer requirements, performance targets, and regulatory standards before release. You will play a key role in validating next-generation secure networking products deployed in high-impact, real-world environments.
What You’ll Do
- Design and develop automated testing pipelines for networking prototypes
- Define test cases based on customer use cases and functional requirements
- Perform functional, integration, and unit testing across networking features
- Conduct throughput, latency, and packet loss stress testing for L2/L3 networking capabilities
- Evaluate system behaviour under variable networking conditions (latency, congestion, bandwidth limitations, instability)
- Set up and operate network emulators, simulators, traffic generators, and packet capture tools
- Support troubleshooting activities across modems and other networking products
- Analyse and resolve complex connectivity and internetworking issues
- Produce clear, concise test reports with actionable recommendations for improvement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality, cost, and timeline objectives are met
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

What We’re Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in networking, testing, and troubleshooting environments
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, and Linux networking
- Hands-on experience with C/C++ and Python
- Experience developing structured testing plans and reporting frameworks
- Practical experience with traffic generators, network emulators, modems, routers, and network analyzers
- Experience testing networking topologies and operational behaviours
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
- Comfortable working in structured yet fast-paced product development environments
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
