Job Description
We’re looking for a mid-level Ruby developer with proven experience building and maintaining user-centric web applications.

You’re comfortable building and improving backend systems that support real users and real business needs. You care about maintainable code and enjoy collaborating to make digital experiences better.
Us: A healthcare tech team building tools that help brokers, consultants, and administrators cut through the noise. Our platform includes complex backend functionality that needs to be scalable, stable, and genuinely useful. We’re looking for a developer who wants to collaborate, ship clean code, and make complex workflows feel easy.
Duties & Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Develop and maintain backend features such as contact tracking, role-based dashboards, and communication workflows
- Collaborate with frontend and product teams to refine user interactions and data flows
- Participate in sprint planning, QA testing, and documentation
Skills & Qualifications:
- 2–4 years of experience with Ruby on Rails
- Proficient in database design and data normalization (top priority)
- Skilled in RESTful API development Experience with Hotwire (Turbo + StimulusJS) (top priority)
- Knowledge of real-time features using ActionCable, WebSockets (top priority)
- Proficient in JavaScript (ES6+) and modern frontend tooling.
- Understanding of security best practices (CSRF, XSS, SQL Injection prevention).
- Experience with multi-tenant applications.
- Understanding of DevOps practices (infrastructure as code, monitoring, scaling).
- Experience with applications involving user workflows or data tracking
- Strong familiarity with APIs, PostgreSQL, and background job processing (e.g., Sidekiq)
- Bonus: Experience in admin-facing tools or healthcare SaaS platforms
