SAP Cloud Data Architect

Exciting opportunity to join a company experiencing exponential growth who is doing a greenfield SAP S/4 Rise implementation and will be blending their existing data warehouse with Datasphere.

We are looking for a SAP Cloud Data Architect to help design and deliver the data warehouse and enterprise analytics platform. This will require blending an existing data warehouse in Netezza and using Databricks and Datasphere.

You will be responsible for leading the design of a cloud data warehouse and data lakehouse architecture to ingest large-scale transactional and operational data; define integration strategies; develop a reference architecture leveraging Databricks Delta Lake; implement semantic modeling to unify reporting across Tableau, Power BI, and SAP Analytics Cloud; oversee ingestion pipelines; optimize query performance; etc

Key Responsibilities

• Architect SAP S/4 data replication into a cloud lakehouse (Databricks and/or cloud-native warehouse platforms).
• Design enterprise data warehouse and semantic models for Finance and operational reporting.
• Define integration strategy leveraging SAP SLT and CDC patterns.
• Enable unified reporting across Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, and related BI tools.
• Establish governance, performance optimization, and scalable data architecture standards.
• Partner with Finance and IT leadership to modernize SAP analytics and reduce legacy BW technical debt.

Required Experience

• 10+ years in enterprise data architecture.
• Strong SAP background (ECC and/or S/4HANA).
• Experience with SAP data replication (SLT preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks and/or modern cloud data warehouse platforms.
• Strong dimensional modeling and SQL expertise.
• Experience enabling enterprise BI ecosystems
