Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Responsiblities

THIS IS A CASUAL POSITION WORKING A MAXIMUM OF 900 HOURS PER CALENDAR YEAR.

Enterprise Excellence is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst Assistant (Business Assistant II) to support our team with a range of entry-level analytics tasks at NNSS. This position is ideal for someone looking to gain practical experience with data analysis, reporting, and business intelligence tools in a professional setting. The data analyst will contribute to data cleaning, documentation, dashboard updates, and general reporting support under the guidance of more senior analysts.

• Assist in collecting, cleaning, and organizing data from various sources.
• Collaborate with analysts to understand reporting needs and provide project support.
• Support the maintenance and documentation of Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Help troubleshoot minor issues in existing reports and escalate as needed.
• Contribute to developer guides and other documentation as dashboards evolve.
• Review dashboards to ensure features and interactive elements function as intended.
• Perform data entry or formatting tasks as assigned.

Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.

• High School diploma or equivalent, and at least one year of related experience.
• Basic familiarity with Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Power BI or similar tools preferred.
• Prior coursework or experience with data analysis (preferred).
• Interest in data analytics, information systems, or a related field.
• Attention to detail and a willingness to learn new tools and methods.
• Ability to follow structured instructions and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• The primary work location will be at the Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada.

• Work schedule for this position will be Monday-Thursday.
• This is a temporary, casual position (working a maximum of 900 hours per calendar year) with flexible hours based on availability and team workload.
• Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.

Ability to obtain a HSPD-12 Personal Identity Verification credential under the Department of Energy Order 206.2, ' Identity, Credential, and Access Management ,' and Supplemental Directive NNSA SD 206.2, ' Implementation of Personal Identity Verification for Uncleared Contractors .'

Hourly salary range for this position is: $21.24 - $31.86.

Starting salary is determined based on the position market value, the individual candidate education and experience and internal equity.
