Overview
UMATR is working with a US-based technology company building advanced AI-driven products, they're looking for an experienced AI Engineer to join their distributed team on a contract basis. The company is developing next-generation AI capabilities across machine learning, generative AI, and scalable data platforms.
This is a fully remote contract position for candidates based in Europe, working closely with engineering teams in the United States.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning and AI models for production systems
- Build scalable AI pipelines and integrate models into existing applications
- Work with large datasets to train, evaluate, and optimise machine learning models
- Develop and deploy AI-powered features including LLM-based applications
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and data teams to deliver AI solutions
- Implement best practices around MLOps, model monitoring, and performance optimisation

Required Experience
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying AI or machine learning systems
