Technical Project Manager / Technology Delivery Manager / IT Project Manager

We’re partnering with a growing technology-led organisation entering an exciting new phase of its journey. As the business continues to scale, it is evolving its technology platforms, internal systems and operational processes to support the next stage of growth.

They are now hiring their first dedicated Technical Project Manager to help drive delivery across a range of IT, business systems and process improvement initiatives.

This isn’t a traditional PMO role. It will suit someone who enjoys working closely with technology teams and leadership to bring structure, clarity and momentum to projects as the organisation grows.

If you’re the kind of Project Manager who sets clear deadlines, follows up actions and keeps things moving, this role will suit you well.

The Opportunity

The organisation already has strong technology foundations in place, but as it grows there is a need to strengthen how systems, processes and teams work together. You’ll work closely with leadership and technology teams to translate business needs into structured initiatives, while also supporting improvements across internal systems, tools and service processes.

As the first Project Manager in the business, you’ll play an important role in shaping how projects are delivered across the organisation.

This role will suit someone comfortable working in an evolving environment where priorities can shift and progress often depends on someone proactively driving things forward.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver IT, business systems and process improvement projects from initiation through to completion
  • Work with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives and delivery plans
  • Coordinate technology teams, support teams and external partners to ensure projects progress effectively
  • Manage timelines, priorities, risks and dependencies across multiple projects
  • Facilitate workshops and project discussions to align teams and maintain momentum
  • Support improvements in how internal systems, service processes and support workflows operate

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience delivering IT, systems or business change projects
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Experience coordinating technology or support teams within project environments
  • Experience managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Understanding of project delivery approaches such as Agile or Waterfall
  • Experience working within SaaS, product-led or technology-focused organisations
  • Experience working with business systems or internal platforms such as CRM, support tools, finance or HR systems
  • Comfortable working with remote or distributed teams

Desirable

  • Project management certifications such as PRINCE2, AgilePM or PMP
  • Experience improving service desk or support systems
  • Awareness of technology governance or compliance considerations

Why this role is exciting

  • First dedicated Project Manager in the organisation
  • Opportunity to shape how projects are delivered across the business
  • High visibility role working closely with leadership
  • Remote-first environment with strong autonomy
