Our Client, a leading organization in the healthcare and technology space, is seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer to join their team and play a key role in modernizing enterprise reporting systems. π‘ What Youβll Be Doing
As a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer, you will help transition legacy reporting solutions to modern data platforms while ensuring data accuracy, performance, and scalability.
Your work will focus on:
- Migrating and rebuilding legacy SSRS reports into Power BI and Paginated Reports
- Designing and optimizing Power BI dashboards, datasets, and semantic models
- Updating queries and transitioning reports to new data sources
- Validating reporting logic and ensuring consistency between legacy and modern reporting
- Using DAX and Power Query (M) to build efficient, scalable data models
- Working with T-SQL to understand, validate, and rebuild legacy datasets
- Analyzing complex reporting logic and improving it for modern BI environments
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality reporting solutions

Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience developing Power BI dashboards and reports
- Strong expertise in DAX and data modeling
- Experience converting or rebuilding SSRS reports into Power BI or Paginated Reports
- Solid experience working with SQL / T-SQL
- Proficiency with Power Query (M) for data transformation
- Strong understanding of dataset architecture, relationships, and performance optimization
- Experience working with large and complex datasets
- Ability to analyze and replicate complex reporting logic
- Strong communication skills for documenting requirements and technical decisions
