Alta Media Partners is hiring a Director of Client Services to lead and scale the core affiliate management side of our business.
This is a senior leadership role for someone who is both strategic and hands-on — equally comfortable leading executive client conversations and building the internal systems that drive performance at scale.
This role will oversee client services for our affiliate and performance partnerships division and will be responsible for client retention, revenue growth, team leadership, and operational excellence.

Location
This is a fully remote position, unless you reside within Orange County, CA, in which case this will require 3 days of in office and two days remote work.
Overview
The Director of Client Services will:
- Serve as the senior strategic voice on key affiliate accounts
- Lead client relationships and executive-level conversations
- Build, mentor, and manage the affiliate client services team
- Drive performance, retention, and account expansion
- Improve internal processes, reporting standards, and forecasting
- Elevate the strategic quality of our affiliate programs
This is not a purely managerial role. You will be in the details — reviewing plans, challenging assumptions, and joining client calls to drive alignment and growth.
Client Leadership
- Act as executive lead across client affiliate management accounts
- Join and lead key client calls, QBRs, and growth planning sessions
- Provide senior-level guidance and direction on execution of objectives to grow client accounts
- Navigate complex client dynamics and decision-making processes

Performance & Growth
- Own client retention, KPI's and expansion targets
- Develop quarterly growth roadmaps for accounts
- Identify new client growth opportunities and cross-functional expansion
- Ensure programs are competitive in market positioning and partner incentives
Team Development
- Manage and mentor account managers
- Establish clear KPIs and accountability across accounts
- Build career paths and elevate strategic thinking across the team
- Lead hiring and team expansion as needed
Operational Excellence
- Improve reporting standards and storytelling
- Standardize performance forecasting and goal-setting
- Refine onboarding processes and account playbooks
- Drive efficiency without sacrificing strategic quality
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years in affiliate marketing leadership
- Agency experience strongly preferred
- Proven experience managing and growing a client services team
- Experience managing, training and structuring client services teams for success
- Deep understanding of publisher ecosystems (content, creator, loyalty, sub-affiliate, tech partners, etc.)
- Strong executive presence and communication skills
- Ability to zoom out strategically while staying close to execution
- Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
