Role Summary

We are looking for a mid-level Motion Graphics Artist with solid video editing capability to join us on an on-call, hourly basis. The primary focus of this role is designing and producing motion graphics for integration into a website, bringing static content to life through animation and visual storytelling. The successful candidate will be comfortable working remotely and independently, using their tool of choice to deliver polished, web-ready motion graphics outputs.

Key Responsibilities

•    Design and produce motion graphics assets for website integration, ensuring visual consistency and smooth performance across devices.

•    Translate creative briefs or design references into engaging animated content suited to a web environment.

•    Edit and assemble video content where required, combining footage with motion graphics for a cohesive final output.

•    Export and optimise deliverables in appropriate web-compatible formats (e.g. MP4, WebM, GIF, Lottie/JSON where applicable).

•    Manage revision rounds efficiently, incorporating feedback and meeting agreed turnaround times in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

•    At least 5 years of professional experience in motion graphics, with video editing as a secondary skill set.

•    A current portfolio demonstrating motion graphics work — ideally including web-based or digital platform projects.

•    Proficiency in any professional motion graphics or compositing tool (e.g. Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent).

•    Working knowledge of video editing software for combining motion graphics with footage where needed.

•    Understanding of web animation considerations including file size, looping, and format compatibility.

•    Able to self-manage in an asynchronous remote environment and deliver to brief without close supervision.
