Job Description
A leading, family-owned textile brand in the home furnishings space is seeking Textile Product Designers. These roles focuses on creating original designs for area rugs, accent rugs, and scatter rugs, and partnering closely with factories to bring concepts to life through physical samples.
Design excellence is central to everything this team does. You’ll work hands-on with product development, gain exposure to floorcovering constructions and cost structures, and contribute to high-quality collections distributed globally.
Relocation is available.
Responsiblities
- Design coordinated patterns that align with existing collections
- Create design presentations using InDesign for leadership review
- Develop multiple sizes and colorways of approved designs
- Translate existing artwork and photography into new design concepts
- Produce refined designs using Illustrator, Photoshop, and NedGraphics
- Partner with factories to develop new products and physical samples
- Collaborate with internal and external partners as approved by design leadership
- Support administrative needs as required
- Build an understanding of floorcovering constructions and cost structures

Requirements
- 3+ years of textile design experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a design-related field (Textile Design, Surface Design, Fine Art, Fashion Design, or similar)
- Strong Photoshop skills (required)
- NedGraphics experience preferred
- Illustrator and InDesign experience preferred
- Clear communicator who takes feedback well
- Positive, proactive mindset with strong attention to detail
