About The Role

We are seeking an experienced AI-focused Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining sophisticated AI systems, with a particular focus on retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector databases, and cloud-based AI/ML solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AI/ML frameworks, microservices architecture, and domain-driven design principles. You will work directly with the VP of Technology and collaborate closely with the founding team to build scalable, innovative solutions that meet our high standards of quality and performance. This is a fully remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects for renowned enterprise clients.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should have a strong background in software engineering with a focus on AI and machine learning. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Candidates must have extensive experience with Python, especially in developing APIs and orchestration frameworks. Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as Langchain, Langgraph, Autogen, Semantic Kernel, and Lamaindex is essential. Proven expertise in vector databases like Pinecone, Weaviate, and Chroma, along with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure, is required. Knowledge of ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, as well as software design principles like inheritance, polymorphism, and design patterns, is necessary. Experience working in microservices architecture and domain-driven design is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

As an AI Software Engineer at Jobot, your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and deploying AI-driven applications and systems. You will build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) solutions, integrating vector databases and cloud services to enhance AI capabilities. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will develop microservices architectures that are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with domain-driven design principles. You will also work on implementing agentic and orchestration frameworks, ensuring seamless integration of AI components. Additionally, you will stay current with emerging AI/ML technologies and incorporate best practices into our projects. Monitoring and improving system performance, troubleshooting issues, and documenting technical specifications will be integral parts of your role. You will also participate in code reviews, mentorship, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
