Role Overview 

• Own the company's end-to-end technology vision and execution

• Architect and deliver AI-powered SaaS & PaaS platforms for insurance markets

• Build and scale a world-class engineering organization

• Align technology roadmap with business strategy and revenue goals

• Represent FBSPL's technology vision to clients, investors & partners


Key Responsibilities 

• Define multi-year technology roadmap and platform architecture

• Lead full product lifecycle — ideation to market launch

• Drive CI/CD pipelines, DevOps culture & engineering best practices

• Manage cloud infrastructure, vendor & technology partnerships

• Own technology budget and build vs. buy decisions

• Recruit, mentor & retain top-tier engineering talent

• Ensure platform scalability, reliability & security at all times


AI & Technology Leadership 

• Architect Agentic AI systems for autonomous insurance workflow automation

• Lead LLM fine-tuning & deployment for:

  • Underwriting assistance & risk scoring
  • Claims summarization & adjudication support
  • Policy interpretation & coverage analysis
  • Customer communication automation
  • Build RAG pipelines & multi-agent orchestration frameworks
  • Deploy vector database search across insurance documents & data
  • Create reusable AI frameworks scalable across multiple clients
  • Define AI governance, explainability & responsible AI policies
  • Build MLOps infrastructure — model versioning, monitoring & retraining
  • Evaluate emerging AI — reasoning models, multi-modal AI, autonomous agents


Insurance Domain Alignment 

• Apply deep knowledge of underwriting, claims, policy admin & distribution

• Serve carriers, MGAs, brokers & TPAs across North America

• Ensure compliance — NAIC (US), OSFI (Canada), CCPA & PIPEDA

• Understand ACORD XML, IVANS & insurance core system integrations

• Translate insurance business needs into scalable technology solutions

• Position FBSPL as a category-defining InsurTech platform


Required Qualifications 

• 8–10 years in technology leadership; 3–5 years as CTO or VP Engineering

• Proven track record building & scaling SaaS or PaaS platforms

• Strong expertise in AI, Agentic AI & Large Language Models (LLMs)

• Hands-on cloud experience — AWS, Azure or GCP

• Microservices, Kubernetes & API-first architecture experience

• Track record launching multiple software products to market

• Experience building industrialization tools that improved industry workflows

• Insurance domain knowledge — underwriting, claims, policy or distribution

• Willing to relocate to Udaipur, Rajasthan, India


Preferred Qualifications 

• Prior InsurTech, FinTech or regulated tech environment experience

• Direct experience with US/Canadian carriers, MGAs or brokers

• Knowledge of ACORD, IVANS, NAIC & OSFI frameworks

• Hands-on with LangChain, LlamaIndex, Pinecone or similar AI stack

• Multi-tenant SaaS & enterprise security architecture experience

• Published AI research, patents or open-source contributions

• MBA or advanced degree in CS, Engineering or AI

• Lead with clarity, urgency & accountability

• Set the cultural and technical bar for the engineering organization

• Act as FBSPL's external technology evangelist

• Build a culture of innovation, ownership & continuous learning

• Mentor and develop next-generation engineering leaders

• Drive collaboration across engineering, product, sales & operations

• Comfortable in both boardroom strategy and deep technical reviews

• Own outcomes — delivery, uptime, team health & hiring velocity
