Job Description

Senior BI Analyst, Marketing Analytics

Location: Remote, Eastern Time Zone

We’re CorralData. CorralData turns messy, scattered data into clear answers and next-step recommendations—minus the cost, complexity, and long timelines of a traditional data stack. Connect your sources, ask questions in plain English, and our platform surfaces insights, dashboards, and smart suggestions in minutes.

How We Work:

We’re a startup for grown-ups. We keep ego low and expectations high, trusting each other to own outcomes, not shuffle papers. You’ll get real autonomy, extreme accountability, and the chance to solve problems that matter for customers every day.

What We Look For:

  • Pride in your craft and ownership of results
  • Bias toward action and measurable impact
  • Kindness, curiosity, and a no-drama mindset

If you want your work to count and you’re ready to build category-defining products with a tight, supportive team, we’d love to meet you

As a CorralData Employee you:

  • Are a driver, not a passenger, and are looking to make a real impact leveraging emerging technology
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, highly-iterative, and collaborative workplace where you can take ownership of your work and contribute to the success of others
  • Value feedback as a fundamental component of your growth
  • Can work against tight timelines while acting thoughtfully towards both the team and the clients
  • Are ambitious, take initiative
  • Are passionate about keeping up to date with the newest technologies, including AI, to provide our clients the easiest and most accurate way to access the transformative power of their data
  • Always seek out ways to optimize processes, work smarter, and increase efficiencies
  • Optimize resources in a way that generates successful outcomes

About the Role:

CorralData is hiring a Customer Solutions Architect to deliver high-quality BI reporting across marketing and other core business data as part of customer onboarding. This role is focused on execution and delivery: building trusted reporting quickly using established patterns and ensuring customers see value from CorralData immediately.

Marketing analytics experience is required. You’ll also work across finance, revenue, and operations data as part of broader customer reporting.

This is not a sales or presales role. It is a hands-on BI reporting and analytics delivery role focused on onboarding, accuracy, and adoption.

What You’ll Do

Customer Onboarding & Reporting Delivery

  • Build initial customer reporting in CorralData using established templates and best practices
  • Deliver marketing analytics dashboards first, with expansion into finance, revenue, and operations reporting based on onboarding scope
  • Translate documented KPIs into accurate, SQL-driven datasets
  • Ensure reports are accurate, performant, and ready for business use on day one

BI Modeling & Reporting

  • Work within existing analytics data models to support reporting needs
  • Extend and adjust reporting models safely to accommodate customer-specific requirements
  • Apply BI best practices around metric definitions, grain, joins, and time-based analysis
  • Validate data accuracy and troubleshoot discrepancies during onboarding

Client Collaboration

  • Work directly with customers to confirm requirements, timelines, and delivery milestones
  • Clearly explain metrics, assumptions, and reporting logic to non-technical stakeholders
  • Keep onboarding moving and unblock customers quickly

Internal Execution

  • Follow documented onboarding processes, reporting standards, and modeling conventions
  • Surface edge cases, data issues, and recurring onboarding friction to the broader team
  • Contribute incremental improvements to onboarding speed, consistency, and quality

What Success Looks Like:

  • Customers are onboarded on time with trusted, production-ready reporting
  • Marketing dashboards drive early adoption and expansion into other teams
  • Reporting is consistent across customers and easy to maintain
  • Customers adopt and rely on reporting immediately after onboarding

What You Bring to the Table:

Must-Have:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in marketing analytics, BI, or analytics engineering
  • Strong SQL skills, including:
  • View and metric creation
  • Time-series, funnel, and cohort analysis
  • Debugging and validating data accuracy
  • Deep hands-on experience with marketing analytics (required):
  • GA4
  • Paid media platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • CRM data (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Experience building production BI dashboards used by business teams
  • Experience working with analytics data models and reporting layers
  • Experience with connector-based ETL tools (Fivetran, Airbyte)
  • Ability to understand, extend, and troubleshoot existing data models
  • Strong client-facing communication skills and comfort explaining data to non-technical stakeholders

Great to Have:

  • Hands-on experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks
  • Experience contributing to shared analytics models in a production environment
  • Experience working with finance or revenue data (Stripe, NetSuite, QBO)
  • Experience with operational data sources
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated data environments

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $120k-$140k
  • Healthcare, PTO, life insurance, and full remote flexibility
