This position requires a strong understanding of network load balancing solutions along with hands-on API development experience. Candidates must be proficient in Python development and Ansible, specifically using the FastAPI and Django frameworks. Experience with Kubernetes or Red Hat OpenShift is considered a plus. This role is not a DevOps position.
Responsibilities
- Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
- Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted Software Engineering challenges that require evaluation of multiple factors, including intangible or unprecedented considerations.
- Contribute to resolving complex situations by applying knowledge of functions, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate strategically with client personnel to support delivery of engineering initiatives.

Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work or consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Experience developing with Python.

- Experience with automation using Python.
- Experience using Django and FastAPI frameworks.
- Experience using GitHub.
- Understanding of network load balancing solutions.
