Full Stack Django and Flutter Developer

The company is an education technology platform for use exclusively in the UK. Its a small but growing firm with a good culture but an even better mission and purpose.

Role Description

We are looking for a full stack Django and flutter developer to join our team to help improve our web application, fix bugs and develop new and exiting features. We have a really exiting roadmap. We are looking for someone who can prove good understanding of the syntax of python and django as well as dart and flutter, have worked on django and flutter projects before and someone who has a good understanding of how flutter and django projects are constructed.

As part of the interview process we will be asking technical questions. We need someone who is confident in adding new functionality to an existing project whilst following the structure of the project.

Experience working with GCP is preferable but by no means essential.

We are looking for someone to work on a rolling month by month contract basis.

• If you are not a full stack developer with Django AND Flutter experience please do not apply for the role.
• Not interested in degrees, masters or A-level grades or any thing similar, were looking for people who understand problems quickly and can solve them.
• Were not looking for someone with 20 years experience. If you are looking for a CTO level role looking for comp > $8000 per month please don't waste everyone's time by applying for this role. This isn't the position for you.

• The best experience were looking for is someone who has proven experience of solving complex in python and django and building clean, robust and scalable UI.
• Intuitive when it comes to designing and developing new functionality. We dont want someone who will just follow the requirements to the letter we want someone who can think on their feet, suggest solutions and be involved in the design and development of the product.
• Confident with writing unit and integration tests
• Proactive.
• Hard working.
• Prepared to challenge when things don't sound right.
• Good spoken and written English is required.

There is no opportunities for visas with this role - if you are based oversees that is fine as work will be fully remote. If applying from overseas ill need a way to pay you in fiat currency ideally wise or nsave.

Outsourcing/contracting/software houses will be ignored - were looking to work directly with a developer.
