About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Data Scientist to join a small, fast-moving team building internal tools and data-driven software used by US-based businesses. You’ll work closely with product, engineering, and analytics teams to analyze data, build models, and support decision-making across both internal products and client-facing systems.
This is a hands-on role with strong learning potential and increasing responsibility over time.
What You’ll Do
- Collect, clean, and prepare datasets for analysis and modeling
- Analyze structured and unstructured data to identify patterns and insights
- Build and test basic statistical models and machine learning prototypes
- Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights
- Participate in async discussions and contribute to improving data workflows and processes
Requirements (Must-Have)
- 1–2 years of professional or relevant experience in data science, data analysis, or a related field
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Data cleaning and preprocessing
- Experience with:
- Python or R for data analysis
- SQL for querying datasets
- Data visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Tableau, or similar)
- Reliable internet + ability to work remotely
- Advanced English skills
