This role offers an exciting opportunity to work remotely as a cloud security specialist, focusing on the implementation, management, and troubleshooting of Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) solutions. You will ensure secure network connectivity for users, optimize security policies, and resolve complex access or connectivity issues. The position provides a blend of hands-on technical work, problem-solving, and policy optimization, allowing you to make a direct impact on the security and efficiency of enterprise networks. You will collaborate with IT teams, act as a key escalation point, and maintain detailed documentation to support organizational knowledge. Accountabilities
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) environments.
- Analyze network issues involving HTTP/HTTPS traffic, SSL inspection, DNS, firewalls, and authentication protocols like SAML, SCIM, and Active Directory.
- Act as a front-line or escalation resource for complex technical issues, providing guidance, debugging, and solutions.
- Monitor and tune Zscaler policies, including DLP, CASB, and threat protection, to enhance performance and security.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including SOPs, network diagrams, and root cause analyses.

- Minimum 2 years of experience with Zscaler and enterprise network security.
- Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP), OSI layers, VPNs, and cloud-based security frameworks (SASE/Zero Trust).
- Proficiency with network packet analysis tools, such as Wireshark.
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools, such as Python or PowerShell, is preferred.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to resolve complex connectivity and access issues.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with IT teams and escalate technical problems effectively.
- Competitive hourly rate: $73–$76/hr (1099 or corp-to-corp).
