Business Development Manager (m/f/d)

The position is fully remote with extensive travel required in the Southeast of the UK.

About the Team:

The ZF Passenger Car sales team currently have a Country Manager, A Regional Sales Manager, 3 Key Account Managers and 3 Business development managers, we work well as a team and use each others experence to develop business. We work closely with the customer services team, technicial team and marketing teams.

• Engaging with key customers and buying groups
• Company & Product training with key customers
• Identifying and developing new business channels
• Negotiating commercial agreements to grow business
• Staying up-to-date with industry trends, current market activities, and competitors
• Using a CRM (Salesforce)
• Collaborating with other territory managers and internal teams to ensure excellent customer experiences
• Customer trade events

Your Profile as Business Development Manager (m/f/d):

• Proven field sales development or business development experience, preferably within the passenger car aftermarket
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving growth
• Good understanding of the UK/IRL aftermarket
• Mechanical knowledge
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships as well as good presentation skills
• Very good and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with teams such as sales, marketing, customer services and pricing teams.
• Fluent in English and additional languages are a strong plus
