Quality Engineer – Manufacturing | Full-Time | Onsite
A leading manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Engineer to support product compliance, customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement across complex industrial processes. This role works closely with engineering, operations, and customer representatives to ensure products meet rigorous technical and regulatory requirements.

- Integrate customer, regulatory, and contractual quality requirements into production processes
- Interpret specifications (ASTM, military, DFARS/FAR) and technical drawings for accuracy and compliance
- Develop and maintain Quality Plans, inspection steps, sampling plans, FAIs, FAT/IAT documentation, and source inspection criteria
- Review material certifications and verify compliance with drawings and specifications (may include RT review)
- Serve as the customer source‑inspection liaison—coordinate, host, and ensure requirements are met
- Lead the MRB/SIR process and drive effective corrective and preventive actions
- Prepare customer reports (e.g., escape reports, CAR/RCCA responses)
- Partner with manufacturing to support inspectors, mentor team members, and ensure qualification requirements are met (NDT, weld, etc.)
- Support internal/external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Analyze data and prepare clear reports and presentations
What We’re Looking For
- Strong understanding of GD&T and metrology
- Experience writing quality procedures for complex/heavy‑industry components
- Skilled in structured problem‑solving and root cause analysis
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and ability to implement improvements
- Experience with APQP, FMEA, PPAP, SPC, capability studies, audits, and inspection/testing activities
- Strong measurement science background; experience with gage R&R and measurement system capability
- Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to meet deadlines
- Familiarity with AS9100, ISO9001, ISO14001
- NDT or welding inspection experience (RT, PT, VT, AWS) preferred
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills (Excel, Power BI, SharePoint, Teams, etc.)

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering (or related technical field)
- 5+ years of Quality Engineering experience, including audit involvement
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
