About The Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Database Software Engineer to join our remote team in the US. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and refining PostgreSQL database features and tools that enhance the performance, reliability, and security of our platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to review code contributions, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure seamless integration within our CI/CD pipelines. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge database technology, work on distributed systems, and impact a global customer base. Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in database development and a strong understanding of database principles
- Deep expertise in at least one of the following programming languages: C, Rust, C++, or Go
- Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals including algorithms, operating systems internals, and data structures
- Proficiency in Linux-based software development and debugging
- Experience in optimizing database system performance and troubleshooting complex issues
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate effectively with distributed teams
