Orbital Critical Systems (CAF Group) a leading company in safety‑critical software for aerospace, defence and transport, is looking for Systems Engineers to join our on‑site teams in Germany.
The positions are on‑site in Germany, with opportunities available in Immenstaad, Taufkirchen, Donauwörth and Ulm.

What You Will Do
- Analysis and derivation of system requirements for avionics and electronic warfare systems.
- Definition and maintenance of requirements for ground support systems and test environments.
- Creation of technical specifications, test documentation, and maintenance manuals.
- Support for the integration, testing, and qualification of RIG/Lab systems.
- Development of concepts and prototypes for sensor functions, image processing, or algorithms.
- Execution of system tests and performance analysis in a laboratory environment.
- Collaboration with clients and partners, including occasional travel.

- Education: Degree in Electrical/Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience: Systems Engineer, ideally in IV&V and integration testing (rig/lab level).
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of avionics/EW systems; in MS Office; familiarity with DOORS, Jira, Confluence; basic scripting (Python, C/C++), automated test tools, and Git.
- Standards: Understanding of DO-178C, and Requirements Engineering is a plus.
- Languages: C1 English Level – mandatory. / German C1 (will be a plus)
- Applicants must hold citizenship of a European country.
