About The Role

We are currently seeking motivated individuals to join our Software Developer cohort starting Monday, May 11, 2026. This role is ideal for those with a foundational understanding of programming or professional experience in technical fields who are eager to advance their careers in software development. As a Software Developer at Genesis10, you will undergo comprehensive training in modern technologies and programming languages, equipping you with the skills needed to excel in a dynamic tech environment. The position offers an immersive learning experience, mentorship from senior engineers, and real-world project exposure, all designed to accelerate your development and prepare you for a successful career in software engineering. This role requires flexibility to relocate anywhere within the United States, as it involves working on client projects across various locations.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess a minimum of six months of programming experience demonstrated through academic coursework, hands-on projects, or professional work. Proficiency should be in one or more of the following languages: Java, Python, C, C#, C++, JavaScript, R, SQL, MATLAB, Mathematica, TypeScript, Shell scripting, Go, or Kotlin. Additionally, applicants must have either a recent STEM degree (such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or Engineering) or at least 12 months of professional experience in industries like finance, healthcare, banking, insurance, hospitality, aviation, or technology. A willingness to relocate within the continental United States is essential, as the role does not support visa sponsorship or work authorization paperwork, except for Asylees, Refugees, and TPS recipients.

Responsibilities

Participants in this role will engage in a rigorous training program spanning three to four months, focusing on developing core technical skills in technologies including Java, IntelliJ, MySQL, Spring, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, REST, and React. Post-training, you will gain practical experience by working on client projects, contributing to software solutions, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Your responsibilities will include writing clean, efficient code, participating in code reviews, and continuously learning new tools and frameworks. Throughout your journey, you will receive mentorship from senior engineers, who will guide your technical growth and help you navigate the professional environment. Additionally, you will develop soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and problem-solving, which are critical for long-term success in the industry.

Benefits

Genesis10 offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off to support your well-being and financial future. During the training period, you will receive paid instruction at a rate of $600 per week. Upon successful completion of the program, you will have accumulated two years of client project experience, with an hourly pay rate of either $24.04 ($50,000 annually) or $28.85 ($60,000 annually), depending on your assigned location. Additionally, we provide $2,500 in relocation assistance to ease your transition. You will also benefit from ongoing mentorship, support from a dedicated Genesis10 manager to help you adapt to corporate culture, and opportunities for professional growth within our network.
